- For an end to the violence that the guys have been the victims of.
- For our new intern Mumbi, as she gets adjusted to life here at Emmaus.
- For Alonzo as he lost his housing
- For all of our guys as the economy gets tighter. Recent Illinois funding cuts have left the mentally ill, the homeless, the sick and pretty much anyone that is destitute out on a shaky limb.
- For those who accessed Uptown's Salvation Army up until now. This branch is shutting down and leaving many people with even fewer options than before.
- For all of our guys that suffer from chronic health problems
- For hearts to be open to the movement of the Holy Spirit as we hit the streets.
- For an increase in our ability to be kind, patient, listeners in an environment that can challenge us to suffer from severe compassion fatigue.
- For more volunteers on Saturday and Sunday nights.

hey doug - if you ever want/need me on a friday night, I can go out too, I'd love it! :) I just have to know for sure by like 4pm that day... because I have to ask for a curfue extention. :) just a thought!
i forgot - this also is prossible for me to do saturday night, if you'd rather.. I know that realistically I can't commit to each week for either friday or saturday, but if there's a guy who ever wants to go out - I'd love to! :) sorry I forgot to mention saturday before....
