When a spot is designated as vacant that means that we have room for another team. Pray that we can get another team on Saturday and Sunday nights. If you know of people that may be interested, let us know!

Doug will try to be available on the streets as much as possible, especially for the new volunteers, throughout the week.

Prayer requests for the week:

• For Christopher and Tim as they are both having trouble getting into detox
• For Alonzo as he lost his housing
• For all of our guys as the economy gets tighter. Recent Illinois funding cuts have left the mentally ill, the homeless, the sick and pretty much anyone that is destitute out on a shaky limb.
• For those who accessed Uptown's Salvation Army up until now. This branch is shutting down and leaving many people with even fewer options than before.
• For all of our guys that suffer from chronic health problems
• For hearts to be open to the movement of the Holy Spirit as we hit the streets.
• For an increase in our ability to be kind, patient, listeners in an environment that can challenge us to suffer from severe compassion fatigue.
